The Original Desert Boot
I have been looking for a great pair of boots for a long time I've only seen these ankle boots on a few people and they caught my attention. I looked them up online and read the reviews and I can only say that the rumors are true. Clarks makes on of the most comfortable boots I've worn. They look great with your favorite pair of Khakis or a good pair of jeans. The best thing to do when you buy them is go to a Pac Sun store at the mall and try them on first because they tend to run a little tight. Then if they aren't on special buy them online you'll save like $15-20. Im usually a 10-10.5 and I bought these in a 9 and they fit perfectly.
I always had a love for clarks from the time I was a little boy, it represented quality and style and seeing them coming back in full force in this modern day and age I had to get me another pair, great shoe, great price, great leather. CLARKS all the way baby yahhhhhhh.(Age 33)
Desert Boots – What A Fantastic Find!!
I have looked everywhere for desert boots without any luck. They did not seem to exist anymore. This was a cheap shoes wholesale that I had worn forever. On a whim I checked Amazon and was pleasently surprised to find these shoes. They are exactly what I wanted. Great shoe, great service.
Still wearing them since the '60's (but NOT the same ones) and still enjoying the comfort and versatility. They "go" with anything, great for travel, and if they get to grungy for you, put them in the shower with you once in awhile...they can take it...
They are comfortable, sturdy and good looking footware. They were created as heat resistant ankle boots, but they are good general purpose shoes. Probably not the best things to wear in the rain, but they'd be great at Burning Man.
